My first-ever solo city trip started at age 12, when I tagged along on my mother's business trip to the provincial capital. I spent 3 days exploring the city on my own, back when smartphones and map apps weren’t a thing yet. Now, I've explored 48 countries and regions, and I'm always planning the next destination.
